Thassos Island

Located on the northern coast, the capital and main port, also known as Thassos Town, Limenas offers a charming and picturesque setting, with a combination of natural beauty and historical sites, also, Limenas has several beautiful beaches within walking distance or a short drive, well known are Makryammos Beach, Marble Beach and Glykadi Beach.



Located on the eastern coast, approximately 12 kilometers southeast of Limenas, Golden Beach (Chrysi Ammoudia) is one of the most popular and well-known beaches on the Greek island of Thassos. The beach is characterized by its golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, some of the common activities include sunbathing, swimming and water sports such as jet skiing, banana boat rides and paddleboarding.
